Capital Basketball is excited to introduce BNZ Kiwi Hoops After School Sessions, a basketball programme designed to bring fun, accessible and engaging basketball opportunities directly into the local community.
We’re looking to serve the areas of Johnsonville and Central Lower Hutt in Term 4 2026. Based out of Raroa Intermediate and Eastern Hutt School, our coaches will facilitate sessions where tamariki can learn new skills, make friends, play 3x3 and develop a genuine love for the game.
The programme will run across six weeks, combining skill development with a fun, competitive 3x3 league.
Players can be registered by schools, parents or clubs.
After School sessions will be offered after school on Wednesdays, 3:30pm–5:00pm, during Terms 1 and 4.
$40 per individual player
SWISH – Years 3–6: 45-minute BNZ Kiwi Hoops session focused on developing skills and enjoying the game, developing towards a 3×3 tournament.
ALLSTAR – Years 6–8: 45-minute BNZ Kiwi Hoops session focused on skill development and 3x3 play.
A dedicated GGG session for Years 5–8 is also being developed as part of the programme.
Our goal is simple: get more kids playing, enjoying and growing through basketball.
